WoodRiver® Forged Carbon Steel Forstner Bits deliver clean, accurate flat-bottom holes with the precision expected from Austrian-made tooling. This premium wood drill bit is forged from a single piece of carbon steel and features a continuous rim cutting design that reduces tear-out while producing smooth hole walls in hardwood, softwood, plywood and MDF.
The forged construction creates a denser grain structure for long-lasting edge retention and consistent cutting performance. A performance-enhancing coating helps reduce wear, while the center brad point starts accurately with minimal wandering. Internal chip lift and eject geometry clears chips efficiently to help reduce heat and friction during drilling.
