The Festool Light Module LM-DTS (578708) improves visibility exactly where sanding happens, making it easier to spot surface imperfections, uneven areas and missed scratches before they become finishing problems. Compatible with DTSC 400, DTS 400 REQ, ETSC 125 and ETS 125 REQ sanders from 2017 onward, this accessory adds focused illumination directly at the sanding surface for more consistent results.
Targeted LED lighting shines across the workpiece to reveal details that can be difficult to see under standard shop lighting. Two selectable brightness settings allow the light output to be adjusted to suit the workspace while helping reduce glare. Automatic vibration detection activates the light when sanding begins and turns it off when sanding stops, eliminating the need for separate controls.
The rechargeable design operates independently of the sander and provides up to 2.5 hours of runtime at full brightness. USB-C charging restores power in approximately 80 minutes, helping keep the light ready for the next project. As one of the most practical tools for sanding, the LM-DTS helps improve surface inspection while fitting seamlessly into a growing collection of power tool accessories.
