Overview
The Klein 1-1/4-in. Precision Ratcheting PVC Pipe Cutter (50044) is a hand cutter designed for schedule 40 and schedule 80 PVC, CPVC, and PEX pipe. It cuts up to 1-1/4 inch (31 mm) I.D. and 1-5/8 inch (41 mm) O.D.
The ratcheting pierce-point blade lets you work through thick-wall pipe in stages, so you do not need a full wide-open squeeze on every cut. A spring-loaded button retracts the blade, which makes one-handed resets easy.
The jaw shape handles a range of pipe sizes, the aluminum body keeps weight down, and soft-molded handles add grip and leverage. A latch keeps the cutter closed when it is stored in your bag.
When the blade wears, the replacement is Klein 50058, sold separately.
